Comparison of both projectors: AAXA M5 vs AAXA M6 PicoThe AAXA M5 was released in September 2016; the AAXA M6 Pico arrived in the market in April 2017.
Concerning the projection system specifications, the AAXA M5 is brighter with a brightness of 900 ANSI (AAXA M6 Pico has 1,200 ANSI) whereas both projectors have a contrast of 2,000:1. The AAXA M5 projector has a better resolution of 1280x800 with a throw of 0.3 - 3.9 , while the AAXA M6 Pico has only 1920x1080 with a throw of 0.5 - 4.9 .
As for the image system, both projectors don't have the vertical lens shift nor the horizontal shift, and AAXA M5 has the vertical keystone correction, but the AAXA M6 Pico doesn't; theAAXA M5 projector can be installed on the ceiling. None of the projectors have the 3d mode.
