Concerning the projection system specifications, the Sony VPL-EX455 has a low brightness (3,600 ANSI) compared to the brightness of the Sony VPL-EX575: 4,200 ANSI whereas both projectors have a contrast of 20,000:1. Both projectors have a resolution of 1024x768
As for the image system, both projectors don't have the vertical lens shift nor the horizontal shift, and both projectors have the vertical keystone, but none has the an horizontal keystone correction, which means that you have to put the projector in front of the screen, but it can be fixed on the ceiling or placed on a table, lower than the screen. None of the projectors have the 3d mode.
