Concerning the projection system specifications, the ViewSonic PJD5153 is brighter with a brightness of 3,300 ANSI (ViewSonic PJD8353s has 2,600 ANSI) whereas the ViewSonic PJD5153 has a lower contrast of 20,000:1 than the ViewSonic PJD8353s having 15,000:1.
